This unit looks good. So far, it works like it should. Suction is a little weak. Not bad though. I have a 5hp vacuum attached. I made a stand so I could move it around if need be. 👍
Excellent products
I just installed the new hose reel, so the jury still out on longevity. It operates as advertised and the installation was relatively easy. My installation was on a concrete slab. The only challenge was trying to figure out Where to install the lag bolts So that the unit can be Easily removed for winter storage.
We love it, so easy to set up and easy to use. We find ourselves pressure washing a lot more often than we used, mainly due to ease of use.
This Giraffe Tools vacuum hose reel will be a great help in keeping things clean in my shop, far quicker than getting out the hoses and pulling the shop vac around. The reel with its hose is fairly bulky and fairly heavy, so finding a good spot and a solid mounting spot for it is important: mine sits in the corner above the shop vac that's parked there anyway (photo), so doesn't really take up any used space. The reel comes with a full-size template (photo) that makes it easy enough to hang, and includes heavy-duty lag screws as well as wall anchors -- though it's heavy enough that it likely needs to be mounted to structural members or a masonry wall. My usual adapters worked well to hook it to the shop vac, and the provided nozzle adapter makes it accept any number of standard household vacuum attachments, from crevice tools to dusting brushes to floor vacuuming tubes. Just like an air-hose reel, it takes a fairly good pull to extend the hose from the reel, and it locks into position the same way. The 30 feet of hose will reach most everything in my small shop, and the hose retracts firmly and smoothly and neatly back onto the reel when pulled again to release the spring. A welcome and useful addition to keeping things tidy especially for messy areas like the floor around the wood lathe, and one that looks and feels like it will give long service.
This retractable hose kit from Giraffe Tools is a great solution if you don't have interest in mounting a reel to your wall. Or maybe you just don't have the capacity to do so. Mine did arrive missing a garden stake but I had some metal stakes on hand. The retracting mechanism works great, you can pull a short length and it will lock in place. Pull another short length and it will lock again. Give a quick yank and it will start retracting. Luckily it doesn't retract too fast. The quality overall appears good. Hopefully it last long and the retracing mechanism holds up. This, IMO, is a much cleaner look than the wall mount units. Also, you can easily take it inside for the winter.

Great piece of kit. Use it in my workshop. Plus I connect it to my sander to reduce the dust flying around. Very happy.

We have only just purchased this product a month ago & so far it’s great. It has long reach, packs up nicely & has great pressure. The only concern is the retractable hose reel seems a little delicate & we are not sure if this will be an issue in the future. But if not, it’s fantastic!!
I would give it a 5, except that a few minor tweaks could be made to ensure it withstands wet conditions better. The cover that comes with it is too slippery and an elasticised cover would be better. It would also help if the exposed screw heads were protected from water with rubber plugs. See photo. Other than this, I would give it a 5 star as the power and functionality of the machine is incredible.
Great vacuum cleaner, suction is pretty good. I decided to mount it in my porch next to the garage and it reaches to my kitchen and bathroom is a big bonus. Very happy with it.
It’s a pretty good pressure washer, really easy to mount and length of hose is brilliant. So easy to put it away. I’ve needed a permit mounted washer for years deciding to try this pro pressure washer. One thing I would like to add is that I drilled two holes in the bracket at the top so it could be padlocked as being quite expensive and quite heavy I chose to leave it there and about to put a twin garbage bin cubbard over it to keep it from the sun and frosts.

Very happy and easy to install
Got the 1st half of my order, nice and quick. Impressed when I opened the carton, as I thought I would struggle installing the pressure washer, ah nope, it was easy and the installation information was great. I used to annoy my neighbours with the petrol drive high pressure washer. This is quiet enough not to annoy them, it's water on demand and a water pressure perfect for vehicle wash and detailing. Perfect for the weekend detailing warrior. I recommend this product.
Great practical product. Retractable hose makes it excellent. I’ve attached a water filter prior to the pressure hose which doesn’t require me to chamois the car after washing 👍

Adds for this product has been well said. I had a water pressure which is very annoying, as a senior myself not safe to used cause of those hoses and elect. cable always in your way while using it. This product makes my life easier with 30m.hose I can clean around my house. Thanks

Good - Easy to install, 30m - Not so good - power lead comes out where the handle clips in, seems to be a bit under powered and it’s pretty bloody noisy! water fitting sizes could be better suited for Australia, Could be better - handled could be on the side of the unit, the stop start isn’t 100% probably from the 30m hoes, not a big deal, -It’s that loud it’s almost unbearable-

Best thing I have ever bought, makes washing my fleet of cars so easy and enjoyable, only downside is the hose from the tap to the unit is average quality and needed to be replaced in a short period of time. Loved it so much I bought a second one
